The Association of Traders and Hoteliers of the Municipality of Orihuela together with the Department of Commerce has presented this morning the Christmas trees that will be delivered to all partners, under the slogan “This Christmas … make your closest trade shine.
ACMO wants with this campaign to contribute to decorate the streets of Orihuela, to create a Christmas atmosphere making the merchants and restaurateurs protagonists in such an important dates. “Buying in the trade of our neighborhood means betting on sustainability, support the circular economy of our region and keep our town alive” said the president of the traders Ascensio Perez.
During the last few days, there has been uneasiness among the residents of Orihuela due to the delay in the lighting of the Christmas lights. “We are very sorry about this situation, because Orihuela at Christmas is very beautiful, and a special atmosphere is created. To the merchants and hoteliers we do not care about the reasons for the delay, what we do know is that it hurts our businesses. It costs us a lot to raise the shutter and what we need is an attractive and powerful Orihuela” said the president again.
The association will begin the distribution next week to shine the Orihuela trade and hospitality.
