The Association of Traders of the Municipality of Orihuela (ACMO) together with the Department of Commerce has presented the August campaign “IV Summer Nights with ACMO”, “aimed primarily at hoteliers, to liven up the summer evenings-nights in Orihuela. This year we will have a total of 15 performances throughout the month of August in different parts of Orihuela,” explained Ascensio Perez and thanked the Department for their collaboration in order to achieve together “that Orihuela is the municipality we all want, the commercial capital of the Vega Baja.
The performances will be in charge of local artists such as DJs, saxophonists or jazz musicians “and so everything stays in the town of Orihuela,” said Perez. Next Thursday, August 1, the first day of this campaign will begin at 8:00 pm.
For his part, Vicente Pina, councilman of Commerce, appreciates this type of activities that makes the local association and this campaign in particular “makes people cheer up in the evenings in summer, since not everyone goes on vacation, and it is necessary to support the restoration and trade that remains open to meet the needs of residents of Orihuela”.
