FIRST MEETING OF THE ACMO BOARD OF DIRECTORS WITH THE COUNCILMAN OF COMMERCE

Last Tuesday afternoon our ACMO Board of Directors had the first meeting at the Association’s headquarters with the Councilman of Commerce, Mr. Vicente Pina.

In this meeting ACMO transferred to the consistory a series of needs that they believe are fundamental for the merchants and the municipality.

Issues such as the Bono Consumption were discussed, in which it was requested that the dates of the campaigns were made known to traders in advance, so that employers had time to organize. That the duration of the same was a month and were made in the month of October and December, as in other municipalities make the campaigns these dates and thus prevent citizens from buying were. And that traders before starting the campaign would know the dates of collection.

Demands were made by the associates: a cleaner Orihuela, improvements in lighting, promoting entrepreneurship and bus service to connect the city of Orihuela with its districts.

In the same meeting ACMO transferred to the Councilman the proposals in which it is working for 2025, consisting in the realization of actions on Saturdays to attract people to the municipality. Asking for collaboration in its execution.

Pina participated actively in all the topics discussed and with a receptive attitude. We advanced the status of our demands raised, indicating that they are working on all of them. In addition, he informed us of the next actions planned to be developed by the Department of Commerce. Since it was also one of the points raised by the Board.

From ACMO we value the meeting as very fruitful and we thank Vicente Pina, since whenever we have needed his collaboration he has always been willing to listen to our needs. And both parties agreed to hold this type of meeting more frequently.
