This morning the Councillor for MSW Collection and Street Cleaning, Ms. Rocio Ortuño, met with the president of the Association of Traders and Hoteliers of Orihuela, Mr. Ascensio Perez, to address the problem of cardboard deposit on public roads by traders.
Rocio has indicated that we have an obligation to address waste collection so that the image of Orihuela is cleaner and has called the meeting for ACMO to demand what it needs.
The President of ACMO, has proposed to set a few days a week for the collection of cardboard to traders and thus facilitate the management of these. He has also moved the need to install new glass containers in more parts of the city and more cleanliness in the shopping streets, as demanded by ACMO partners.
From ACMO we value the meeting as very fruitful and we thank the Department, since whenever we have needed their collaboration they have always been willing to listen to our needs.
