Works in local commerce

The “work in local commerce” service that we offer is, simply put, an information exchange for all those interested in finding employment in one of our associated commerce and hospitality businesses.

Are you interested in working within your own municipality? Are you passionate about your city and want to support it? Do you have the talent and motivation to grow the small and medium-sized businesses on our streets? Fantastic! we want to count on you.

The process will be as follows:

1. You send us through the form on the page your Curriculum Vitae with your experience, skills and contact information.
2. We study your profile and, if we have any doubts, we call you right away.
3. A local business partner asks ACMO for an employee with a certain profile and characteristics.
4. If you meet the profile, your contact information and your resume will be sent to the business, so that they can interview you.

In Orihuela there are many different types of stores. Whatever your education, skills and abilities, we are sure there is a place for you in the local trade.

There is no requirement to send us your data. In addition, it is a free service offered by ACMO.

However, in order for you to have the best chance of being called as soon as possible to a job in local commerce and hospitality, we advise you the following:

• Have a well filled out and updated resume. It would be a shame to be the successful candidate for a job and not be able to contact you.
• Make clear your studies, skills, work experience and in which areas you might fit best, so that we can create a suitable job profile for you.
• In many cases you will need to be a resident of the municipality, or at least be able to commute to Orihuela, to access your job.
