The Miguel Hernandez Cultural Foundation in collaboration with the Association of Traders of the Municipality of Orihuela (ACMO), launches a project to commemorate the 114th birthday of the universal poet Miguel Hernandez, born on October 30, 1910.The Miguel Hernandez Cultural Foundation conceives, promotes and implements the organization of the activity. The Association of Traders of the Municipality of Orihuela will be responsible for disseminating the activity among its associates in stores and hotels, and also for the distribution of the material, using, both entities, the necessary personal and material resources. The activity, which consists of decorating a space dedicated to the poet Miguel Hernandez, in the window or in a place inside the premises of hospitality or services, will be held during the months of October and November 2024, with the aim of creating a hernandiano atmosphere in the streets of the municipality of Orihuela. <\/p>\n\n

The Foundation provides the material to be used in the decorated space: 48×40 feather cardboard, with a photo of Miguel and text by Pablo Neruda, donated by the FCMH to the participants, which will be returned at the end of the campaign, to be used in future events; and a collection of books on hernandian themes donated by the FCMH to the participating associates, which will become their property. It is foreseen the distribution of 450 copies of titles related to the universal poet from Orihuela published by the Foundation. <\/p>\n\n

Any other element may be used at the cost of the participants that may add value to the above but without detracting from the poster and books.Registration and access to the material will be made in the following places:<\/p>\n\n
